Golden Hour North

This was taken in Eagle River, Alaska, from the observation decks behind the nature center. It is such a beautiful spot, especially in September when the seasons are starting to shift. Fall color comes on strong, but you can already see winter settling into the higher elevations. That mix is what makes this image so special to me. It really shows how quickly and beautifully the landscape changes this far north.
